The SUPER Bowl Real Estate Trend

A recent Curbed Boston article states that when the New England Patriots get hot, so does the real estate market. Since 2002, there has been an unusual ongoing trend: When the Patriots make it to Super Bowl Sunday, the market takes a drastic jump.  An increase so high that in 2002, when the Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVIII, MLS had showed a 36% More Boston Condo Sales than in 2001.  This upward trend would continue with several Super Bowl winnings but there was also a flip side to this. When the Patriots would lose without a spot in the Super Bowl (or when  Brady became injured) , the market would take a plunge.
