Things to Do in Jamaica Plain

Jamaica Pond

The largest and deepest body of fresh water in Boston, surrounded by concrete paths as well as green space. Perfect Place for a picnic or playing fetch with the dog. It's also home to the annual Lantern Parade, which takes place in October and is a standard tradition amongst local residents.

Arnold Arboretum

Owned and maintained by Harvard University, the Arboretum is a 265-acre world-renowned plant collection that contains Peters' Hill, the highest elevation point in Jamaica Plain at 235 feet. The Arboretum is a great place to take in the outdoors with friends or family or simply to enjoy green space and solitude within the city.

Sam Adams

TSamuel Adams combined pride, confidence, passion, and optimism to ignite the American Revolution.  With a similar spirit, Jim Koch helped start the Craft beer revolution when he first brewed Boston Lager over 30 years ago - a revolution that is going strong to this day with close to 5,000 independent Craft brewers nationwide.
